3 simple To Do lists |
New year, new plans and new tasks – that’s a lot to bear in mind! So I need something to help me manage them. Browsing through the web I found a lot of “to do list” applications, but the following three got my interest. Also I read a lot of great reviews about them on different blogs.
Has all the features that you need in a task manager and it’s very flexible and rich. What I liked about the product is that you can organize tasks in different categories: Work, Study and Personal. You can add notes to every task and then put tags to make them easier to find. You can even share your tasks with others.
One last feature that I found useful is that one can get reminders by email, SMS or IM. Of course, it has more features, but I’ll let you discover them.
One word description: rich.
It was developed by 37Signals, a company that we admire. As all the things they’ve done, their to-do list application is a great product. It’s easier to use than Remember the milk because it has less features. So it’s perfect for the user that just wants to put down his tasks and manage them. No notes, tags or priorities.
In a matter of minutes you can create a list and add items, then reorder them with a simple drag and drop. You are encouraged to share your list with the whole world or just with friends in a simple way, make the list public or send it by email.
One word description: simple.
Was released at the end of 2009 and it has the simplest layout that you could imagine. When you open the tool you’ll see the entire week in front of you with the current day highlighted. It’s like a calendar with things to-do. Items can be reordered with drag and drop and struckthrough when completed.
In one word: uncluttered.
Have you tried any of these tools? What do you think?
