How to create a MixTape in 2010
Wednesday, October 27th, 2010I’m positive everyone knows what a mixtape is. The story follows this line: a boy falls in love with a girl, but he’s either too shy, or he’s not such a good speaker and can’t express his feelings very well. In this situation he makes a selection of songs (in some cases the arrangement of the songs is very important) and sends it to the girl he loves. Obviously, things can happen the opposite way, the girl being the one to make a mixtape for the boy she loves.
The idea of a mixtape is an old one. I don’t know exactly when it came out first, but even I myself once made a mixtape, using an audio-cassette. C’mon, I know that many of you don’t know what’s an audio casette, but I’m not that old, I’m only 30. My dad probably used magnetic tape and reel-to-reel audio tape recorder. Technology has evolved and mixtapes started to be made on CD/DVD or even USB sticks. But now we can send our loved one an online mixtape, post it on her Facebook wall or send it over Twitter.
