I just found Morguefile.com, a public image archive for creatives by creatives, as they describe themselves and thought that it might interest you. In case you need free, high resolution stock photos in your projects, like banner ads, website design or perhaps a little inspiration, this is a great resource.

Actualy this iPad app is not so new. It was released on September 2010 but it got some new updates recently, which made the app very useful.

The iSWiFTER iPad app uses the iSWiFTER Flash game streaming service to bring the most popular casual and social Flash games from the biggest online gaming portals on the internet, such as Yahoo! Games, AOL’s Games.com, Facebook, Kongregate and others. The iSWiFTER iPad app showcases the capability, flexibility and benefits of using the iSWiFTER platform to instantaneously enable Flash games on mobile platforms such as iOS, without any incremental work by developers!

With this conversion tool you can convert .fla files (the Flash source file format) into HTML5, but you can’t convert SWF into HTML5. So, at this moment, you must find a way to decompile the .swf files into .fla and then convert them to HTML5.

This is an experimental technology and this first relese of Wallaby is supposed to give Adobe a lot of great feedback from more than 3 million Flash developers. Finally, this conversion tool will bring more content made with Flash tehnology onto iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad.

Mozilla Foundation

Unlike Apple’s App Store, Android Market and Google Apps Marketplace, the apps in the Mozilla Web Applications can be installed in any browser on any device. Right now there are only 17 apps, but soon, this number will grow really fast.

We are excited to announce the availability of the first milestone release of Mozilla’s Web Application project. Web Apps are applications that run on any device, and can be distributed through any store or directly by the developer. This release contains stable APIs, developer utilities and documentation to help you get a jumpstart on building Web Apps and stores.

And I like Tumblr because it’s very easy to use. I can store and share things via email or phone. From this point of view I even like it more than Facebook. I can find the things I share more easly

Anyway, when I’m on my desktop or laptop and I want to keep and share something with my friends via Tumblr, I like to use different web apps from our SnackTools family. And today I would like to show you how can you insert a photo slideshow made with PhotoSnack on Tumblr.

Create a photo slideshow with PhotoSnack

1. Login into PhotoSnack
2. Upload pictures from your computer or from other sources like Facebook, Flickr etc
3. Chose template and customize it. Change colors, size or add music
4. Publish your slideshow and copy the embedded code into Tumblr

1. Login in Tumblr and go to Account – Preferences where you will check “plain text/HTML” option. Don’t forget to save preferences!
2. Go to dashboard and choose “Text” option. Be sure that you have “HTML enabled”
3. Paste the embedded code of the slideshow, create a title, choose some tags and URL format
4. Preview first, maybe you want to make some changes and than publish.

2. Kuler is the spot you have to go if you need color combinations. Developed by Adobe, Kuler is an application for generating color schemes for any project you can imagine. There are thousands of themes already created by members and you can browse through them using the tags that members associated with their palette.

If you want to create a new theme, you can start from a color or from an image. It’s the kind of tool that you can play with for hours.

3. Color Combos was build to help web developers quickly select and test website color combinations. They offer tools to see how different color palettes would look on the screen and a library where users share their combinations for some inspiration.

If you have some favorite websites that look nice, just grab the url and let ColorCombos suggest some colors from those sites. Or you can just browse different categories like aqua, lemon, green, peach and others to find a color scheme.

4. Toucan is a little more sophisticated tool, compared to the others in this list. Developed by Aviary, it was made to encourage you to create and play with color pallets. You can increase up to 20 or go down to only 3 colors in your scheme and you can customize it in many many ways. The possibilities are endless.

Aviary released several more online tools, among which an image editor and an effects editor, so the palette created with Toucan can be imported and used in these tools. I think that’s a great plus for Toucan users.

5. Colorhunter is a very simple tool that lets you create colorful schemes from your images. All you have to do is browse a photo from your computer or insert a URL.

There are tons of icons out there, but where to find the right one? The application answers your question and makes the searching process easier. Good points for them?
